Campers and counselors with a fluke

Our story

Our mission is to get the next generation off the couch and onto the water. We teach kids real fishing skills, confidence, and respect for the outdoors, one town at a time.

How it started

A few rods, a handful of kids, and the Fairfield shoreline.

We've been introducing kids to the sport of fishing right here on Long Island Sound. We're a locally run camp with one goal: teach young anglers real skills, build confidence on the water, and give them an experience they'll never forget.

We never set out to build a company. We just wanted to share the thing we loved most as kids: a summer morning on the rocks, a rod in your hands, and the moment something pulls back. Today we run camps in towns across Connecticut, but every week still feels like that first one.

This was the start.

Before the camps, the charters and the shop, it was a couple of local kids with a few rods and a big idea. News 12 Connecticut caught it early.

What we believe

Simple stuff, done right.

  1. 1Every kid can catch a fish with the right help
  2. 2Small groups beat big ones, every time
  3. 3Counselors should know these waters by heart
  4. 4Kids should leave able to fish on their own
  5. 5Fishing is supposed to be fun

Giving Back: Fishing for a Good Cause

Part of every camp week supports [Foundation name], the organization we partner with to protect the water we fish. Swap this in with a line or two about who they are and why they matter to us.
